Are spreadsheets everywhere performing just fine?

End-user spreadsheets are everyday IT tools in many parts of the world.

How are these performing after rollover ?

Take care

Dept. Heads, Quality Control people, shop floor staff, etc. dearly need their spreadsheets for daily activities.

Any info on post-roolover performance?

Take care

As long as we don't leave it open when we're done using it, its fine (Excel, three years old). When we left it open and came back hours later, the computer had crashed and we had to reinstall everything before the computer would boot again, losing all files in the process--luckily the indispensable ones were backed up.

We also lost all archived data in our weather tracking program at rollover, and the software won't run at all anymore in 2000. But that was just a hobby, so it doesn't really matter. Its really just irritating.
