greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

ok Can someone please tell me if their is a SIMPLE WAY without getting 20001 other programs to make some jpegs i have into mpeg stills> i know the xing does this but i foolwed their method for encdoing it as a still and it didnt work. the adding music though made it work, but i would rather have just a bunch of stills. thanks again. I also have the dvmpeg which does this as well. it will encode it but the file it makes it turns has 0 data meaning it just cinverted the name of the file.

Doug, the problem is probably because you can't convert a mpeg with no audio stream. Why not just add a silent .wav file as the "music"? It should be easy to create this silent file with your favourite audio/video editing program.

thanks for the info, but i was going to put quite a number of pics on the cd. So i did not want to use the sound option. The still version can obviously be done as people on here have been doing it. Even again the xing gives the option to use sound or to make a still (which it then required i throw in "wildcards" in the files name) but i had trouble with this, but it can be done.

Use WinOn 3.7 then! It gives you both the option of either still with sounds or without!
