I am using virtualdub to convert my .asf files to mpeg for VCD creation and i am constantly getting errors is there a more reliable program for this or does anyone know of any upgrades.

it will accept asf and output an mpeg. it works with many asf that play fine with media player, but choke v- dub.

after edit you can play your vid to a vcr through your vid out put on a ati card than record on play back to a mp2 file as the new nero has nameing convention isues you change the extention of this file to .mpeg and now transcode to a dvd it takes time and parts like a vcr but if yiur like me you have lost lots days and nights in converting with no sucess this will work in less time for that hard to encode file due to size. if you have a slow cpu it will be much faster than tmpeg with very good results or as good as the vcr play back can due.
