I am looking for my first digitial camera and was set on the Oly 2020z,but the price was alittle steep.I am now looking at the EPSON 850z and wanted to know if any one has used this camera and if they liked it or didn't like it.I found one for $640.00 so the price is right...Tony

I bought an Epson 850z for my son for Christmas and have used it a few times. It is a very nice camera. The lens is sharp, the hot shoe for the flash is very handy (my Vivitar 285HV workes well on the 850z), and files make excellent 5x7 prints with little work in PhotoShop.

Tony, I have had the 850z now for one week. I had the hardest time choosing between it and the Nikon 950. I finally went with the 850 because of the hot shoe flash option. Anyway, I could not be more pleased other than wanting to stay home from work and just travel taking pictures. Anyway, when making my decision I wanted all the sample photos I could get. Here is and url of mine with pictures I've taken this last week:

Good luck in your decision, Jim
