What about the one and only ZOOM for P67 ?

As an artist painter I use my good old Mamiya C330S with 80, 55 and 180 mm lenses and a Plaubel 6x9 superwide camera with a 46 mm lens for reproduction of my paintings and indoor murals. I am interested however in the "new" P67II with AE-prism mainly because of the TTL exposure capabilities, faster and more accurate than using an external exposure meter I think. However I am not sure about my choice of lenses. The 45 mm is a must, but I could use the 55 mm and the 75 mm and the 90 mm etc... ( check my site www.vanhoef.com and you will see what I mean ) So: Has anybody ever owned the zoom 55-100 mm, worked with it or is this some kind of alien gadget ? What about the optical qualities of this lens ?

I have the rig of which you speak (P67II+AE finder+55-100). I LOVE it - with one exception: 95mm filters are VERY pricey. I also have the 45mm, 165LS and the 200mm w/1.4 converter. The reason you probably don't hear much about this lens is because of its' relative "newness" and its' price. I typically prefer fixed focal length lenses, but this zoom is a real treat.
