*** There IS an "Alien" INVADER Biological THREAT! Research and Development Areas :
Advanced Biological and Medical Technologies: Biological Warfare Defense Unconventional Pathogen Countermeasures

The goal of the Unconventional Pathogen Countermeasures program is to develop and demonstrate defensive technologies that afford the greatest protection to uniformed warfighters, and the defense personnel who support them, during U.S. military operations. While no defense may stop a determined adversary from unleashing biological weapon, a sufficiently robust array of pathogen defenses and countermeasures , deterrents in their own right , will reduce the probable damage that would result from biological weapons used in a particular operation.

The most sinister offensive biological warfare scenario employs surprise, immediate proximity, and rapidly lethal, persistent agents in overwhelming quantities. Under these circumstances, real-time sensing, donning of physical protection, and conventional nonmedical countermeasures are only marginally effective. An effective operational defense ideally requires instantly available or emplaced countermeasures that can defeat biological threats as they enter the body and before they reach and attack target cells and tissues.

The focus of the Unconventional Pathogen Countermeasures program is the development of revolutionary, broad-spectrum, medical countermeasures against significantly pathogenic microorganisms and/or their pathogenic products. These countermeasures will be versatile enough to eliminate biological threats, whether from natural sources or modified through bioengineering or other manipulation. They will also have the potential to provide protection both within the body and at the most common portals of entry (e.g., inhalation, ingestion, transcutaneous). Strategies include but are not limited to:

Defeat of a pathogen's ability to enter the body, traverse the bloodstream or lymphatics, and enter target tissues.

Identification of novel pathogen vulnerabilities based on fundamental, critical molecular mechanisms of survival or pathogenesis (e.g., Type III secretion, cellular energetics, virulence modulation).

Construction of unique, robust vehicles for the delivery of countermeasures into or within the body.

Modulation of the advantageous and/or deleterious aspects of the immune response to significantly pathogenic microorganisms and/or their pathogenic products in the body.

A great many people throughout Europe and other Plague stricken regions of the world were reporting that outbreaks of the Plague were caused by foul-smelling "mists". Those mists frequently appeared after unusually bright lights in the sky. The historian quickly discovers that "mists" were reported far more frequently and in many more locations than were rodent infestations. The Plague years were, in fact, a period of heavy UFO activity.

LUCAS : Flu comes from Outer Space, claim scientists
Excerpted from :
In a report to be published in the journal Current Science, they claim the outbreak was caused by DUST deposited high in the atmosphere by passing comets being forced down to earth by energy generated by cooler patches on the sun's surface, known as sunspots.

They reach the peak of their activity, the maxima, every 11 years... The latest cycle began to peak in September and the maxima is due sometime this year.

Here are my speculations:

1. We are being experimented upon ("hey ralphie! lets see what happens if we try THIS!) (Uncle Sugar, a shared subsidiary of Bristol -Meyers-Squibb and Hoffman-Laroche.)

2. We are being innoculated enmass against foreign creepie-crawlies by our heroic, selfless, always thinking of the average citizen government. (the red, white and blue is there for YOU!)

3. Biowar has already commenced. remember those stories of the flu that wasn't the flu?(so what if 10 million people choke to death on bodily fluids-think of those reduced commutes!)

4. We are being sterilized.Ever hear of a story called the "Screwfly Solution"?

Thanks Scooter.

As for you, 8th man, a really valuable and informative contribution you made there. Can't anyone post anything on this forum anymore without some a**hole insulting the poster?

I would suggest readers of this thread do some internet research and see what other articles "Bill Hamilton" has initiated. For what it's worth, he seems to be a staunch believer in aliens and UFO's.

That was a bit difficult to read. As for the sun connection, check out this recent thread: OT -- Flu comes from outer space, claim scientists -- Statistically Follows Sunspot Activity in 11 Year Cycle ---

Regarding commets & meteors... this seems unlikely, unless the flu can also be spread person to person, which it apparently can be... with the meteors as just a way to get the ball rolling. Tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it, I'll try to turn up some maps showing documented meteor strikes in the US, which might be used to compare with the spread of the flu. But, I suppose it wouldn't be on every meteor, just the occasional odd one. Perhaps it only comes into play when the sun is just right, too... Could this explain why the chemtrail planes seem to fly only in the daytime?

Dancr, This "Stuart Millar" who wrote the article you are referencing, who is he? I can't find any other references to him on the internet.

Interesting add on... Last night on the Discovery Channel at 8-9PM EST. A one hour special on the 1918 Doomsday Flu that killed 20 million world wide. They said they had hoped to isolate the 1918 bug in some dug up frozen cadavers found in Alaskan perma-frost. Did this in 1997. Said they were not able to isolate the virus in the lab. Did say at the close of the program we could have another just as, or worse than, deadly outbreak at any time. Hmmmm.

OK, OK, OK... I can already see I'm going to have to pay for this wild eyed post above. Yeah, it sounds nutso, alright, in the light of day. I certainly don't believe it. I just saw the connection between the two threads and thought it would be worthwhile to point that out. Isn't that how new theories come about? Anyway... carry on...

Has it occured to anyone that the easiest way to implement a chemtrail spraying program is to add something to the fuel supply? That way every airplane becomes a chemtrail sprayer, and even "normal" contrails can be chemtrails. All that is required is a scheme to add a chemical to the fuel supply. An example of this is the deadly additive MTBE, mandated to be added to gasoline and responsible for the contamination of water supplies nationwide. The recent fuel contamination problem that has affected thousands of airplanes in Australia is another example of how a fuel contaminant can have widespread impact.

Could the "anti-anthrax" agent be added to standard airline jet fuel and be effectively dispersed by this method?

In addition to inadvertant spraying by airlines, the pattern of chemtrails photographed and in evidence on several web sites (some of which have been visited by numerous government agencies on many oocasions) indicate an intentional program of blanketing urban areas with contrails possession unusual properties. (Not the least of which being the formation of large visible contrails at altitudes where contrails would not normally form, and the merging of the contrails into sky-obscuring cloud cover. Many have also observed a "dust drifting downward" effect in large chemtrail/contrails, rainbow effects when backlit, and strong odors subsequent to spraying. Others have collected physical evidence after heavy chemtrail activity, including filaments, goo, brown powder, "angel hair", apparently different aspects of a similar substance. Those who handle the substance invariably come down with life-threatening "flus." Others have noticed an upsurge in local respiratory illness (although no authenticated studies have been performed to my knowledge) following heavy contrail activity.

Some Internet journalists have also reported on scientific testing laboratory analysis of chemtrail "fallout" that reveal exotic and normally only mildly dangerous bacteria and viruses, but when examined more carefully, those pathogens betray their origin in biotech labs, including telltale markers (similar to luciferase) of genetic modification.

Another concern is that a chemical additive (banned as a pesticide hazardous to humans) added to the jet fuel. Ethylene dibromide causes respiratory distress and makes the person exposed more vulnerable to respiratory infection, courtesy of the same contrail fallout. This dovetails into my theory quite nicely.

-- Ceemeister (, January 23, 2000.

Ceemeister: Combustion heat would not be good for any additive, good or bad.

-- Liz (, January 24, 2000.

Liz, the fact IS that ethylene dibromide IS a fuel enhancer. Like it or not, it is an excellent source for human depopulation, info. courtesy of the EPA also known as the environmental protection agency.

You can find the following reference material here:

Hazard Summary Ethylene dibromide is extremely toxic to humans; exposure to high concentrations of ethylene dibromide through inhalation, ingestion, or skin contact can result in death. Changes in the liver and kidney have been noted in humans who died from ingestion of ethylene dibromide.

The chronic (long-term) effects of exposure to ethylene dibromide have not been well documented in humans. Animal studies indicate that chronic exposure to ethylene dibromide may result in toxic effects to the liver, kidney, and the testis, irrespective of the route of exposure.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not established a Reference Dose (RfD) for ethylene dibromide.

The Reference Concentration (RfC) for ethylene dibromide is currently under review by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). However, EPA has calculated a provisional RfC of 0.0002 mg/m3 for ethylene dibromide.

Developmental effects have not been documented in humans exposed to ethylene dibromide. Limited data on men occupationally exposed to ethylene dibromide indicate that long-term exposure to ethylene dibromide can impair reproduction by damaging sperm cells in the testicles.

Animal studies have demonstrated reproductive and developmental effects from ethylene dibromide exposure. Animals that breathed or ate food containing ethylene dibromide for short or long periods were less fertile than control animals or had abnormal sperm. Pregnant animals that were sick from exposure to ethylene dibromide have had pups with birth defects.

Human data are considered inadequate in providing evidence of cancer by exposure to ethylene dibromide. Several animal studies indicate that long-term exposure to ethylene dibromide increases the incidences of a variety of tumors in rats and mice in both sexes by all routes of exposure. EPA has classified ethylene dibromide as a Group B2, a probable human carcinogen of medium carcinogenic hazard, with a 1/ED10 value of 2.1 per (mg/kg)/db and an inhalation unit risk estimate of 2.2 W 10-4 (5g/m3)-1.

The RfC is not a direct estimator of risk but rather a reference point to gauge the potential effects. Exceedance of the RfC does not imply that an adverse health effect would necessarily occur. As the amount and frequency of exposures exceeding the RfC increase, the probability of adverse health effects also increases. The provisional RfC is a value that has had some form of Agency review, but it does not appear on the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS).

The 1/ED10 value is a measure of the carcinogenic potency of a chemical. The value reported here has been proposed in the hazard ranking of hazardous air pollutants in EPA's proposed rulemaking (Section 112(g) of the Clean Air Act, April 1994).

Please Note: The main sources of information for this fact sheet are EPA's IRIS, which contains information on the carcinogenic effects of ethylene dibromide including the unit cancer risk for inhalation exposure, and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry's (ATSDR's) Toxicological Profile for 1,2-Dibromoethane. Other secondary sources include the Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB), a database of summaries of peer-reviewed literature, and the Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS), a database of toxic effects that are not peer reviewed.

Environmental/Occupational Exposure Possible sources of ethylene dibromide emissions to the ambient air are production and processing facilities. (1)

Exposure could occur from inhalation of ambient air near industries that use ethylene dibromide. (1)

The most important route of exposure to ethylene dibromide for most members of the general population is through the ingestion of contaminated drinking water (especially well water). Another place for exposure is near a chemical waste site where ethylene dibromide has leaked into water or soil. (1)

Assessing Personal Exposure- There is no known reliable medical test to determine whether someone has been exposed to ethylene dibromide. (1)

Health Hazard Information- Acute Effects: Clinical signs in humans and animals related to acute inhalation exposure to ethylene dibromide are depression and collapse. Ethylene dibromide is a severe skin irritant that can cause blistering. (1,2)

Exposure to high concentrations of ethylene dibromide through inhalation, ingestion, or skin contact can result in death. Changes in the liver and kidney are reported in humans who died from ingestion of ethylene dibromide. (1,2)

Tests involving acute exposure of animals, such as the LD50 test in rats, have shown ethylene dibromide to have high acute toxicity from oral exposure, while the LC50 test in rats has demonstrated moderate acute toxicity from inhalation exposure. (3)

Chronic Effects (Noncancer): The chronic effects of exposure to ethylene dibromide have not been documented in humans. In one case in which a worker breathed ethylene dibromide for several years, he developed bronchitis, headache, and depression. His health improved after he stopped breathing air contaminated with ethylene dibromide. (1,2)

Animal studies indicate that prolonged exposure to ethylene dibromide may result in toxic effects to the liver, kidney, and the testis whether by inhalation, ingestion, or skin contact. (1,2)

EPA has not established an RfD for ethylene dibromide. (4)

The RfC is currently under review by EPA. (4)

EPA has calculated a provisional RfC of 0.0002 mg/m3 for ethylene dibromide. (5)

Reproductive Effects/Developmental: Developmental effects have not been documented in humans. Limited data on men occupationally exposed to ethylene dibromide indicate that long-term exposure to ethylene dibromide can impair reproduction by damaging sperm cells in the testicles. (1,2)

Animals that breathed or ate food containing ethylene dibromide for short or long periods were less fertile than control animals or had abnormal sperm. Pregnant animals that were sick from exposure to ethylene dibromide have had pups with birth defects. (1,2)

Cancer Risk: Two cancer studies on workers exposed to ethylene dibromide have been carried out. Neither study reported a statistically significant increase in cancer mortality; however these studies are considered inadequate due to confounding factors. (4) Several animal studies indicate that long-term exposure to ethylene dibromide increases the incidences of a variety of tumors in rats and mice in both sexes by inhalation, by gavage (the placing of ethylene dibromide experimentally in the stomach), or by administration to the skin. (4)

EPA considers ethylene dibromide to be a probable human carcinogen (cancer-causing agent) and has ranked it in EPA's Group B2. (4)

EPA uses mathematical models, based on animal studies, to estimate the probability of a person developing cancer from breathing air containing a specified concentration of a chemical. EPA has calculated an inhalation unit risk estimate of 2.2 W 10-4 (5g/m3)-1.

EPA estimates that, if an individual were to breathe air containing ethylene dibromide at 0.005 g/m3(1) over his or her entire lifetime, that person would theoretically have no more than a one-in-a-million increased chance of developing cancer as a direct result of breathing air containing this chemical. Similarly, EPA estimates that breathing air containing 0.05 5g/m3 would result in not greater than a one-in- hundred thousand increased chance of developing cancer, and air containing 0.5 5g/m3 would result in not greater than a one-in-ten thousand increased chance of developing cancer. (7)

EPA's Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards, for a hazard ranking under Section 112(g) of the Clean Air Act Amendments, has ranked ethylene dibromide in the nonthreshold category. The 1/ED10 value is 2.1 per (mg/kg)/d and this would place it in the medium category under Superfund's ranking for carcinogenic hazard. (6)

Physical Properties~ Ethylene dibromide is a colorless liquid with a mild sweet odor, like chloroform. (1,7)

Ethylene dibromide is slightly soluble in water. (1,7)

The chemical formula for ethylene dibromide is C2H4Br2, and it has a molecular weight of 187.88 g/mol. (1,7)

The vapor pressure for ethylene dibromide is 11.0 mm Hg at 25 C, and it has a log octanol/water partition coefficient (Log Kow) of 86. (1).

Uses~ Ethylene dibromide has been used mainly as an additive to leaded gasoline. This use is currently declining due to the increased regulation of leaded gasoline. (1)

Ethylene dibromide was used as a fumigant to protect against insects, pests, and nematodes in citrus, vegetable, and grain crops, and as a fumigant for turf, particularly on golf courses. In 1984, EPA banned its use as a soil and grain fumigant. (1)

Ethylene dibromide is currently used in the treatment of felled logs for bark beetles, termite control, control of wax moths in beehives, spot treatment of milling machinery and for Japanese beetle control on ornamental plants. (1)

Ethylene dibromide is also used as an intermediate for dyes, resins, waxes, and gums. (1)
