It is the year 2000 and I say WOW to myself every once in awhile when I see this date. Here we are!

Actually after learning about this y2k thing you should be even more awed by seeing the year 2000. I'm also awed by how quickly many 'experts' forgot the predictions they made regarding y2k.

Carol,

I've been thinking the same thing occasionally. It sure is nice to know that the 80's and 90's are now just part of history (especially since we accomplished nothing to be proud of)! I can only hope that this is a turning point toward enlightenment, awareness, and accomplishment of more positive goals for humanity. The Age of Aquarius is upon us! :-)

Hawk do you really think we are going to be better off then we were in the 80's and 90's with what we have running for election for president? I sure hope you are right.I wonder if the good times might be over.Klinton was a disgrace to the USA but do you really think we are going to do better?I don't mean as a person we couldn't do worse.

dizzy,

Come on now, is that all that politicians are is someone to blame for all the selfish things that we do? I think not. They do some good things and some not so good things, but we have to take some responsibility too don't we?

Yep, me too.

Just got my #6 state quarter, featuring Massachusettes - coin of the socialist/fascist realm. Mint date on the reverse side is 2000.

Kinda wild.
