Think of the impact on the economy without all of these people in jail charged with possession of POT. Hundreds of thousands of people would be looking for jobs, the money spent for prisions, guards, courts, judges, prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, prison service contracts, prison administrators, would be available for other uses, TAXES COULD BE LOWER, and money spent for prisons could be used for other purposes. The impact would be huge. Billions of dollars each year. Don't expect any end to this bonanza anytime soon.
