The final straw was the IP/ISP "outing"; I can't see any consistency in its application, and am very aware that many dictatorships - and some nominal democracies - start out benevolently. Andy-Why have you been spewing vitriol here the last few day? I can see from your posts that you are an intelligent man, and your postings would be far more valuable if you did not get caught up in all your emotionalism. Public servant, I am glad you were here to ask for verification, though your emotionalism and lack of diplomacy hurt, too.

Good debate is fostered by calm minds chewing up the opinions and then allowing them to permutate into something bigger. Name calling and brash insults bring the discussion down to the schoolyard-and I have never seen anything good come out of these kind of discussions- they are more likely to end up with someone being arrested for assault.
