What's your opinion of penis padlocks?

PENIS PADLOCKS? Does this sound fun to ANYBODY? I mean, even as the woman in the relationship, I'm thinking I don't want the penis in a damn padlock. Maybe that's just me, though. What do you all think?

I have to know the source where this question came from. :)

It was on the Daily Show last night! Like I said in my entry, doofus.

C'mon, Jan, like any of us really read your entries. ;)

Hrm. Penis padlocks. Now *there*'s a conundrum.

There are 2 situations that I see using one (as a sex toy) in:
1) I'm going away for some reason, and put it on him while I'm gone.
2) I'm using it on him as a BDSM toy, while I'm present.

My problem with the first scenario is that, dammit, if I'm gonna play with a sex toy with my boi, you'd better believe that I'd be around. ;) I guess I could see it as a day-long thing, like, "I'm gonna make you want me *bad* by tonight," and putting it on in the morning and then taking it off and doing naughty things at night. But I'd think that'd be more of an erotic thing for *him* during the day, not me (though I guess it could be a turn-on for me, knowing that he had it on...I dunno, I've never really thought about this before, so it's all conjecture).

My problem with the second scenario is that it'd have to be on for some prolonged period of time to make it noticable or "worth it," so I can't see just doing it for 10 minutes while we're playing around or whatever.

I guess that the conclusion that I've come to is that it might be fun as a one-day or one-evening experiment or once-in-a-while toy. Maybe like putting it on before going out to a club or something relatively sexy, and then making a big deal of removing it and playing around when you get home later that night...? Hrm.

So here's my question to the guys in the audience: would that be a turn-on? Do you think that that kind of toy would enhance the "I can't have what I want" feeling? I'm curious now. I think it's fun to flirt and tease with Peter when we go out in public, just because it makes it more fun when we're back alone later...would something like a padlock or other "ever-present" toy like that be an extreme example of that? Guys?

Hrmmm. The thought of having my nether-sausage in some sort of constrictive device is one that makes everything want to retreat, in a manner of speaking. The idea of using some sort of penis padlock as a sex toy / marital aid might have merit though. Being teased all night at the club all the while wearing that penis padlock and then having it taken off at the end of the night for some fun, I imagine, would be quite a turn-on (even if it hurt like a bitch the whole night). You know what they say about pleasure and pain, though.

Gee, Adam, what DO they say about pleasure and pain?

My opinion is:

FREE WILLY!

OK, so Peter's response to this question (aside from "don't you ever do any *work* while you're at work, carolyn?") is that "horny" and "prevent erection" are painfully mutually exclusive.

Bummer. ;)

Ever since I orginally read this entry, I've put WAY TOO MUCH thought into this, and still cannot decide what my opinion is.
