To Ron and Others....Please don't do this...

If you want to post a link please give a brief summary of what the link is about and why we should be interested. I find that 90% of the time posts done like this are a total waste of my time so I never bother to follow them nor do many others I've spoken to.

I *did* give a "brief summary".

An accurate one, I might add.

Now I gotta wonder was this deal open to all TV producers or did the folks involved have to be "Freinds of Bill"? I'm sure that grateful political supporters who made such windfalls would share their extra cash with Klintoon and the DNC. And if they weren't willing, I'm sure they didn't qualify for the funds in the first place.

Follow the money and look for the kickbacks. KICKBACKS! KICKBACKS! KICKBACKS! It's a "Klintoon Klassic" financial move right up there with turning $1k into $100K making cattle futures "trades".

Funny, I personally refuse substance abuse treatment to dozens weekly because the government underfunded treatment in our area. Now I see where the money is going...it's buying the press. *lightbulb ignites*

"The Times has plenty of company. The drug office says it is spending $11.3 million in the current 12-month period to advertise in 250 newspapers, and that $893,000 of that money is being spent on the Times, USA Today and The Washington Post. And White House officials say that in three cases--two of them involving the Times and The Post- -newspapers were granted $200,000 in financial credits that reduced the amount of public service advertising they are required to provide under the program."
