Red Eye

Using the CoolPix 950 and having a LOT of red-eye problems. Is there a quick simple way to get rid of red-eye using Photoshop 5.0?

Yep! Use the magic wand tool with a tolerance of about 50 to select the affected eye pupil, then flood the selected region with black. Red-eye only ever reddens the pupil of the eye, which is always black, and doesn't affect the iris that gives people their eye colour.

I use Photoshop for this myself (an FD-91 red-eye maker).
One more suggestion after you change the red-eye to black however...
Use the zoom tool and zoom into each eye and place a couple of small white (or off-white) pixels slightly off center in each pupil. Do it in the exact same place in each pupil. This puts a natural glint in their eyes. If you don't do this your subjects will look like corpses...
