Anyone used Krylon Clear Gloss spray for prints

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I've read that Krylon clear gloss paint spray can be used on inkjet prints to make them water resistant. Has anyone tried this? How about other techniques?

Lamination. You can get an 8.5" x 11" hot-laminating machine at Sams Club for about $80. The pictures are protected against moisture, stiffened, and they look glossy too, even if printed on ordinary paper.

I have found that printouts posted on sunlit walls (as signs) fade in a week. Specialty suppliers offer anti-UV laminating jackets that supposedly improve longevity of printout in sunlight. I have not tried this product yet. -bruce
