Adios!!!!! Thanks Everyone!

Dear One and All,

This is my official buh-bye post. I know I posted one just before roll-over but that was my pre-TEOTWAWKI post. This is my Thank-goodness-the-CIA-had-no-clue adios post.

I am going back to the life I had before Y2k. I am resuming my glassblowing business and look forward to using up all my propane making art. I am overjoyed that I can still get all my materials and that my sales rep can still sell my stuff on the net.

I made many good friends here. Anyone who wants to reach me can just use my real live e addy. Thank you all for such a stimulating year.

Blessings to you and yours

Don't go river, come back to visit sometimes!

I am beginning to think the prediction of the "death of a thousand cuts" was not about the glitches that would get us but instead about the friends that would eventually leave our circle.

Godspeed, River, and please come back from time to time.

Blessings to you, too, River, and thanks for all your wonderful contributions. Go, create beauty, beautifully. Always a pot of cybertea to share with you at my addy, too.

Hey River~Soma....Blessings to you and yours as well. A nice warm shower in the morning is still a blessing, as for a cool drink on a warm summer afternoon. Creature Comforts......ahhh :

River Soma:

I first met you in your "sniper" post--remember that one? You were patient and kind with me and my philosophizing...

Thank you.

Godspeed friend, you will be missed.

She'll be back.

This place is evolving. It hasn't quite gotten legs yet, but you'll know it when it does.

There's something larger than Y2K going on here, methinks...........

May you say goodbye a thousand times

Good luck and God Bless! Take care now, ya hear? :-)

River Soma,

You taught me some interesting stuff in the middle of the night: it's quite an amazing experience for an insomniac like me to stumble to the computer and then...whoosh...find myself shot into a Serious Conversation. Thanks for those (you too, Deb). Fun comparing cup sizes, also.

Paul Milne's on the 4th of July? How far is it from the west coast to VA?

Thank you all for the kind wishes. I will keep tabs on TB2000 just to see what it turns into. I just will be too busy to contribute much or hang out with all my wonderful buds in chat.

My kids are doing great and we are all happy there is still a school for them to go to. I never really brought up Y2k with my youngest but my 10 yr old is a mini geek and is very happy that his games still work.

Those of you who want to see my glass please e-me privately and I will send you the URL. I think posting it here would be considered soliciting.

Thanks!!!!!
