the same nice dj at wyep who laughed at me last week lied to me this morning. he told me he would play "truth" shortly after 8am. hello? it's after 9, i'm still waiting. it's number 3 on their rotation list and i still haven't managed to hear them play it. it's become my goal in life.

one thing i don't like about this new board is that when you read the answers you don't know who they're from until you reach the end.

Hi Kristin - I spoke to Rosemary Welsh, the program director at WYEP on Mon. the 17th. She told me that until WYEP gets written permission from Joe90 Mgmt. , they cannot legally play the live version of Drive or Truth . As far as the morning DJ, Jack Barton; unfortunately he is a jagoff (Pittsburgheese for an asshole). You'll have better luck with Rosemary Welsh in the afternoon or even better; the weekend DJ's are allowed much more freedom of choice. Try on Sat. between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm or Sun. from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. I'll see you on Fri. night....... Dave

thanks for the info, dave. i wasn't even trying for the live version, just the album version. and it was kyle smith (early morning dj) who lied to me. if he had just told me "i'll try" i wouldn't have minded but he was so specific about when he would play it that i got my hopes up. now i'm going to have to call and harass him every morning until he plays it for me. hah! he'll learn.
