asking the question about what is unusual about your home life is like the doctor telling me to, "breathe normally." all of a sudden you are concentrating on the attempt to breathe normally - but breathing is an involuntary thing.

what is normal - what is unusual?

unusual in today's eyes, it is unusual for people to be married to each other for 57 years. it is not normal to have an avid reader mated with a non reader (not illiterate - just doesn't like to read ).

unusual in today's eyes, it is unusual for people to be married to each other for 57 years. it is not normal to have an avid reader mated with a non reader (not illiterate - just doesn't like to read ). it is unusual that encourage and support each other on the things we want to do. i think it is a bit unusual for the level of trust to be so high beteween married people..

but - - - - having never lived in anyone else's body - - or life, how can i say what is normal or unusual. fiction stories accentuate differences and conflicts - - - the courts can't really, precisely state what is usual and what is unusual, even no two psychiatists agree, exactly on normalcy.

we are here and we each are unique so that makes the question a difficult one to answer.

Fun games I play with my kiddos....(aka I'm Strange Too, Al)

Lauryn's Pizza Palace. Whenever I call home from work, after speaking to my wife, I ask to talk to my 4 yr. old daughter. When she gets to the phone, I immediately start ordering pizzas....the more the merrier. Meanwhile, my daughter starts screaming "NO DAD, NO, IT'S ME, YOUR DAUGHTER LAURYN, I DON'T HAVE ANY PIZZAS."

Little Orphan Lauryn. This one was started by my daughter. It is now a tradition. Any time we go to a store, as we are leaving, she runs a few steps ahead, and then starts sulking, looking lost and pathetic. I know my lines by heart; "Oh, are you lost? Is everything OK?" Then she says "My parents died, I'm all alone with no place to stay." Then I say, "Well, you can come home with us. I have a son who can be your little brother, a wife who would love to be your mommy, and a nice little girl room you can stay in"....etc etc. Kind of a strange game, I know...but she loves it. My wife refuses to play, doesn't like the "my parents are dead" aspect to it. Go Figure.

I also play the hide and seek even though they are right there, Al. Fun for all ages.

Also play Helicopter Attack. I carry my almost 2 year old son Ryan, make helicopter sounds and chase Lauryn all around the house, finally catching her and allowing my son to tickle her till she is out of breath....

Toys....who needs em
