Yeah Pimps!

My journal, For Once, Then, Something, is all about me (of course), a lowly college student. But I enjoy writing, and I think my 3 readers like my stuff. ;o)

Come check out my journal, "Bitchypoo" (original, eh?)! See tons of pictures of my cats! Read about my getting pneumonia and the subsequent hilarity and hijinks! See me bitching about my boss! Hear about my Ben Affleck sex dream! The thrills! The chills! The excitement! Come one, come all!

  1. I sell t-shirts online.
  2. You'd like to come because... uh, well, not all of you would like to come. On one of those stupid emode tests, I was compared to a bassett hound. I guess if you are unapologetically lazy, you would like to come.
  3. If you do visit, you will take with you... uh, hey, I threw a few drawings out there. I threw them out there when I redesigned this week. You could read about the guy that drew them drawings. There you go.

How Not To Fly.

EricaJackson.com></a>
<br>Is my I'mErica Online
Is all about me and is basically my original site, which I've moved from my university account. Unfortunately, I used absolute URLs and have a ton of code to fix. The writing is much more opinionated.

Is a site I hope will become a tiny, little community for women online. Women who write, who are fed up with societal roles, with the willfully ignorant masses who attempt to confuse rightful anger with insanity, women who want to be part of the solution. I haven't had much time to develop or promote it, but you can read about my vision and contribute.

Diary of a MAD Woman
Is home to my various journals, Bleed, the menstrual diary; SF Daze, a journal of my last months in San Francisco; and my current online journal: Diary of a MAD Woman.

John
Easdale
Is a fan site I'm developing for a friend. I gave the domain to him for his birthday in September, but haven't had a great deal of time to work on it since then. When we get it up and running in the next few months, it will offer exclusive pictures and information about John and his current projects, concerts and appearances.

What will I give you if you visit? A great big virtual hug, I suppose.

all pimped out now,

3 readers? Wow, that's triple the number that my journal site has. Drop me from the reader list and it's infinity times the number my site has.

Well, for crying out loud, I made some code boo-boos. EricaJackson.com is my "straight" site with resume and writing. It's also turning into my official name with a lot of friends.

I'mErica Online is the site to which the Etch-a-Sketch and first paragraph on my previous post refer. apologies for the bad html,

OK, its not a journal site, but I do display some of my photographs.

the bravest form of truth is my online journal. i'm a hockey playing english and theater major at a small liberal arts college in minnesota, and i regale my readers with stories of my alcoholic chain smoking friends and talk about hockey and schoolwork too much. i'm going to london for spring term, so that should provide me with some great adventures.

I'm incapable of posting on the first try...

fiendish thingy

I have this journally thing as a place to play with design, scribble stuff, point to things, and generally not bare my soul to the internet. I like to talk about myself so isn't an online journal a logical conclusion?

As for myself, I'm in my third year in the electronic media art and communication (EMAC) program at RPI. I'm part of an improv troupe, Sheer Idiocy.

By visiting my site, you will get lovely prizes such as viewing pictures of my possible new apartment, my harping upon the people and situations that annoy me, and a bonus of infrequent updates when I'm busy.

I love opportunities for mass hits.

I'm not a complete lurker, since I've posted in a couple of the forum questions, but this is the perfect time for me to come out of the woodwork. Yep, I've got a wee little journal, too:

Fleeting Imprints

I've got maybe two regular readers, myself and an e-mail buddy in Holland. But my main site was recently linked in The Book of Rob and I even had four people surf over from there. (OK, it's because Rob printed my Chewie haiku, which was really nice of him since it wasn't a very good one, but still...).

I haven't updated since New Year's Eve, due to computer problems, but now that everything's up and running, I promise the updates will be more frequent.

Why should you go there? Not to sound desperate or anything, but it's fun (at least I think it is), it's no train wreck (at least, I don't think it is) and...and...and Rob linked me!

Please love me, er, I mean, my journal! (Ok, maybe that was a little desperate.)

i can't believe i am actually gonna post this, but here goes. i have kept a journal since i was in junior high. but after reading squishy i have decided to put my thoughts online. so here is mine.

Whatever and Ever Amen.

i am a 26 year old alternative ed teacher from california with a romantic life that leaves a lot to be desired. i am also a single mom who is friends with my kids dad. go figure.
there are mostly my thoughts and ideas. a few pictures.. you know that sort of stuff.
i have about 5 people that read daily. who knows, maybe i will get more from this. i haven't joined a webring because i am a little afraid of people who actually know me discovering it. but having said that i am now about to post my site on one of the most public bboards on the net. i marvel in my brilliance.

well, enjoy living vicareously though my life :)

metrocake is a little journal that talks about me me me! :)

My life in New York, my dealings with my insane family, preparations for my wedding, oh, and my quest for world domination. It's been a bit on the down side (as in bummer, man) lately, but things are looking up -- so shiny happy entries will abound!

I have fat lady porn. No, really, they're drawings. It's a cartoon series myself and two others conceived during listless biology periods. About a small boy who gets lodged up a large woman's rear. Um. To be read whilst eating for greatest effect. Not meant to be terribly offensive to any of the minority groups burned.

The Crevasse, or something..

My site is so awesome, that you will not even believe how awesome it is. It is so great that you will pass out from the first whiff of greatness emanating from within its pages. Then, when you revive yourself, you will laugh yourself into a hernia.

OK, this isn't working, is it? Just go visit it already. It has a forum and everything. Also, if you don't have a site of your own, feel free to pimp mine.

[i like my design] journal!

it's my very cool online journal, which i named after..hehehe!

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

The Nid is my personal homepage. Aside from the beautiful preraphaelite prints I've also got a journal that I update almost everyday. Search the archives for the more personal stuff, since I've toned it down in that respect lately. I like to talk about everything from pet peeves, day-to-day occurances as well as my ongoing struggle with my mid-twenties. Located in the Bay Area, sometimes my life gets really interesting. I also have a few book reviews and links to other interesting sites, including Clean Sheets, which is an elegant erotic magazine I write "how-to" columns for.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

My old site was wiped, and now I look really pathetic because I only have 3 entries in the journal, one other weak section and absolutely nothing else. only.at/ariana. Reasons why you should visit my site..

1. No angst. Just light hearted entertainment.

2. Because I would appreciate your visits, and would like to get to know you better :) ehehe

3. Because you've probably seen all the other ones and need one more site to visit. It may not be spectacular but what's one more site gunna do?

No title, (almost) no content, no point. Excited?

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

Ok, last time I mentioned my link here, I got like 20 new readers, so why not... hehehe

I am the infamous stasi of covet what was mine. I write about things like trimming my bush, marrying off my unborn child, and I show you pictures of my naked stomach.

20th Century Gothicmy exceedingly long tribute to the mighty HP Lovecraft

Tonight We Sleep In Separate Ditchesmy journal, open for inspection since January 1, 2000. Please feel obligated to come visit all of these sites.

Also, I've got a few record reviews up at this site and some film reviews here. At this latter one you can even see a picture of me. If you consider that to be a good thing. I have reservations about it myself.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

Wow, it's going take me a long time to work down this list, visiting all of your sites.

So... If any of you still have a click or two left in your mouse by the time you get all the way down here, I would like to invite you to visit my site where after three or four years of long gaps between entries, I've managed to post everyday so far this year. Of course I am not a twenty-two year old female who posts semi-nude pictures (gee... if I'd mistyped and left out the word "not" ... can you imagine all the hits I would have?)... just a middle aged computer guy who can type and do a little html... You're all welcome to visit my site, there's plenty of room for all...

(Uh, yeah, this is the same Jim who has been posting here for months with a hotmail address but this yahoo one kind of goes along with the webpage...)

Hello, My Name Is Kate

I'm not a journaler but I do have personal writings on my site: * Musings and rants * a journal written while training for my first triathlon this summer * writings about my experience with eye surgery (PRK). * more polished short essays I'm very proud of my design, and I have a typo-free guarantee. And if none of that tempts you, start with this shocking cartoon from a '70s Christian comic book. Or this eloquent essay on what women really want.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

Yet another journal. It's almost a year old now. And not as pornographic as it looks. I have my off days, so if the first entry you read kinda sucks, try another one before totally giving up on me. What am I saying, they all suck. If you come visit my site, I'll give you... sex. But only if you're cute.

Okay, my site is:

http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Dorm/3684/letters.html

yeah, geocities, I know. Annoying pop-ups, which suck.

Basically, I started this to just keep up with my best friend, who also writes a journal. And now, just about everyone I graduated from high school reads it, which is kinda neat.

It's just your regular journal. Sometimes I think I'm funny and sometimes I think my writing sucks. Hm.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

Buddafish

Reasons you should visit my site : 1 ) I compare myself with an imaginary girl named Melba. 2 ) I write a lot of really weird deep thoughts. 3 ) I update frequently as my life consists mainly about reading and then babbling about what I read. 4 ) I'm funny, but not as funny as Pamie. 5 ) My journal has both a God and an animal in the title. Kinda reminds you of the "fish-lightbulb" episode of the Simpsons,no?

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2000

Uh-Oh. I'm in trouble cause I can't think of a thing to say here.

Why you should come to Role Reversal? Cause, I usually track down IP #'s and domains and find out where people are from, drive hours and hours without sleep and sit on their front step singing Britney Spears remixes? No, that's not right.

Umm, because I truly love my domain, and it's got a lot of work to be done, constantly changing and improving... I'm an (D)HTML, Graphics, and Design freak who ends up dreaming about the coding I just did for a page. My girlfriend and I both have our sites there - mine is /pretense/ and hers is /shotgun/...

It has our journals, art, photography, et cetera up there...

So, yeah... shoot by and love us?

Puppy pictures! (Okay, it's a cheap shot, but they really are adorable. Beth, they're labs -- check 'em out.)

I've been keeping an online journal since April 1999, and I try to update at least weekly. (Very weakly.) My grasp of html is also weak, so here's the URL for my site, Corviosity:

http://home.mebtel.net/~kirchner

I started reading online journals a year ago, beginning with Beth (www.xeney.com) and Pamie. Now I check at least 6 sites a day, and if I have time, I have about 25 bookmarked.

Good thing I'm an admin assistant, so I have plenty of free time.

Brittle Moments is my journal, in which I am currently concentrating on being diabetic and pregnant. A diabetic is considered brittle when their sugars aren't easily controlled, even though they're doing what they're supposed to. While I will be diabetic forever, I won't be pregnant forever, even though, I feel like I may be; this pregnancy was a starting point because here's little information on diabetic pregnancies out there and even less on diabetic nursing mothers. I needed a place to be crazed and hormonal, while simultaneously maintaining the veneer of being helpful. Okay, so it's not a veneer--sue me.

I also have friends who were worrying about me, so it's a way to let them know I'm doing Ok and to let them know when I'm not.

What will I give you if you come.to/diabeticmama? If you wanna know, you gotta visit.

Woohoo, site pimpin'. Narcissism floats my boat and fries my chicken all at the same time, y0.

So anyway, I've got two sites that I kinda like. I had fun designing them, at any rate.

Profound Turquoise Logic is mainly just for my writing and all that, so yeah, it's got a journal. A crappy journal in which I mainly just whine about school and sometimes think of witty things to say. I also have an extensive list of links, artwork, mp3s, and some other random stuff.

Applesauce Obsession is a site my best friend and I have been tweaking since we were freshmen (we're now seniors) in high school. It's cool because we have a purity test to see how much like us other people are-- essentially, inside jokes from about a year ago put into one handy-dandy Javascripted radio button form-- and an extensive funny quote page. Actually, we mark periods of our lives by the quote page. We can't remember whether such-and-such thing happened in 10th grade or 11th, but we know where a relevant quote is located.

What a sad, sad life I lead. I need napping skillz.

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2000

Okay, I can't resist, I'm such a hit slut sometimes. Despite my recent lack of internet access thanks to the school's servers being down for the better part of...A long time...I do have a journal!

I even have bad graphics made by that cooltext site that I post mercilessly on other people's forums.

Come on, read all about the misadventures of a manic depressive college student with OCD. More fun than cutting off your right pinky toe with a butter knife.

God, I make myself sound so appealing.

Dry wit with lashings of estrogen.

ahahaha! not only am i way way way down on the list, i'm celibate and christian and i talk about prayer and joy and reading Peter Kreeft and CS Lewis!
and because i'm having such a wonderful life and i'm enjoying my spiritual journey so much, i have a huge readership of six people, which is actually only two because one of them comes to my page about four times a day. which is just creepy because, well, he doesn't even talk to me usually.
anyway.
accentuate
and you know, just to entice you, there's no popups. i pay money every month to save my lack of readers from popups!
yay!

< a href="http://www.fringedesign.com/atmosphere">atmosphere :: an online journal
Everytime I try to write one of these journal descriptions, I sound like a shmuck. My name is Mahrya (pronounced Mariah). My journal has been called & "raw" and "brutally honest". Maybe it is. It is me. It is my life.

Wow, lots of pimping has already happened.

Anyhoo, my journal is over here - www.andromeda.qc.ca

It's not anywhere near as funny as Pamie's but y'all can still laugh AT me.

My journal is The Parallax at http://members.xoom.com/theparallax . Read several to get a feel for the journal...

Je hovah Lives In My Freezer--an online journal for jerks and retards.

See? I mean it!

-- Anonymous, January 19, 2000

I have a journal too (imagine that). Here's my tag line (as if you haven't already read 20 of them today): "The rants, raves, and recitations of a 20 something college student attending the University of Texas at Austin. Changing minds, one brain cell at a time."

Anyway, here's the link... are you ready... it's coming... Matt's Mind

I hope to see you there soon.

I'm pathetic at updating consistently, but I've been told I'm funny. At least the people who email me seem to think so. Here it is:
Zoi : the life and times of a vegetarian witch @ freespeech.org/beth/.

Hey baby, want a date?

Okay, that's enough hooker-speak.

I know this forum's not exactly new, and it's not exactly empty, but our site, He Said, She Said is up and running and would dearly love some readership. We're counter-checking sluts, alright?

bored -
you weren't doing anything anyway

My girlfriend is a Pamie freak. I'm just a spammer. Ta da!

-- Anonymous, January 25, 2000

I can't believe how many people pimped their sites that were already on my links page!

-- Anonymous, January 25, 2000

With a name like AttackMonkey.com, how could you not go?

My site was the first official site about shrinky-dinks on the web. I also have the true story of a murder in my hometown (it's actually a paper I wrote for a class, but it is very entertaining). Plus, you can't leave without looking at my journal!

Come one, come all . . . or the monkey's gonna get you!

-- Anonymous, January 27, 2000

I'd be surprised if anyone will find this since the last person to pimp was back in January and here it is the end of March.

My journal is about my everyday life and introspection of past experiences and occasionally my 'most humble controversial opinions'. I guess you could say it is very down to earth.

I'll attempt to make a tag here for my journal. I'm not quite sure how to do it, so here goes.

Smoke and Mirrors Come join my, what, four readers? Five?

Yes, I'm a college English teacher, one of the permanently disgruntled part-time adjunct crowd--and admittedly one with nine cats, one little white dog, and an opinionated life in Northern California. I'm famous for picking other people's nits, for alliteration anxiety, and for the absence of pretty graphics on my website--and that's what you'll see if you go to http://www.jps.net/artcorner/scc/semicolon

See you there!
