I am interested in purchasing a Maine Coon what is a reasonable price and how are the prices set for them?

Maine Coon kittens can range in cost from $150.00 to $1,200.00, depending on the region in which you live, the breeder, and many other factors. I purchased both of my MC's for $200.00 each, but unbeknownst to me, they both had upper respiratory infections, and the vet bills negated any savings I might have had. In the future,I would only purchase from more reputable breeders, and would insist on veterinary certificates before even going to meet the kitties. (I was a sucker for the first little furry face to purr my way...)
