A little cash on hand doesn't hurt...

The Blockbuster Video in our city has had a sign up for the last week or so that they will accept "Cash Only" because they're satellite is down and they can't take credit cards or checks.

Don't know if this is an isolated problem or not. The store is in NW North Carolina.

Oh...no "Couch Potato" jokes pleassssssssse...I have enough problems with blonde jokes. LOL =)

Appears to be a "regional"(?) thing. Blockbuster that my family frequent (Clarkston, MI, USA) accepts all payments, gladly.

Has anyone noticed a Blockbuster monopoly that is killing all privately owned and family run video stores? There used to be a good selection of places in town and now there is ONLY Blockbuster, forcing me to give up nearly 5 bucks for each movie. grrrr!
