I cannot seem to get M. Hyatt's page to come up. Anyone else having this problem?

Yep. Been trying for the past 45 minutes. Absolutely no links under "MichaelHyatt.com" will work for me, either.

me too.

Yup! me too. Must be a hacker, a y2k glitch or a conspiracy.

I've noticed that for the past week, the number of sites going "down" is increasing. sites will go "down" for a few hrs, then come back up. EMail has also been "flaky". And yes, hyatt's site is down right now.

You've got to know when to hold, know when to fold.

The the router to the server is down. They are working on it. Will be back up when it's fixed.

According to our technical support people, the router to the server for our site is down, they are working on it. Hopefully, service will be restored soon.

Thanks LOON and Dorrit for your prompt report on the router status.

Please post when it comes up again.

I smell a possible rat (hacker). Michael Hyatt was basically accused on the strange website wwww.AmericanWasteland of not believing "doom forecasts of a January 1 meltdown of Western civilization...." This was part of a previous, but deleted TB2000 post, "Michael Hyatt article,'Y2K was a hoax'." This is part of the document flamming Hyatt and others on the AmericanWasteland's website by a D. Marty Lasley entitled "Michael Hyatt Admits That He Knew Y2K Was A Hoax"

What a bunch of garbage.

That explains why I couldn't get the Michael Hyatt Forum to come up, but I couldn't this one of Gary North site either and a few others!! The same thing happened to me when the Hyatt Forum went down several weeks back! Strange.

Good point. Why didn't he say something at least relatively comforting when he was over here responding? Because he cares so much about these folks over here, and he knows how sensitive we are to every little conspiracy against us, why wouldn't he try to put our fears to rest about these terrible "anti-realist" hackers (who I believe Servant so eloquently referred to as egomaniacal individuals in the I Smell A Rat post)?

I am truly confused. Do you think he even knows his site was hacked, or do you think someone is maybe there, right now, holding him hostage so he can't tell us what really happened?

Gotta go. Planes overhead. Dale out.
