I include the following as asides to the general time period we live in of which Y2K might have a prophetic significance. The *first* is an article concerning a rash of UFO reports over China at the time of the new millennium. The *second* is an Art Bell interview with Hal Lindsey about prophecy and the "rapture" or taking away of Christian's before the start of "The Great Tribulation" followed by the predicted literal return of Jesus Christ seven years later. Lindsey was on the NY Times' best sellers list in the '70's after writing "The Late Great Planet Earth" -- a prophecy book listing the signs of Christ's return in this generation -- and was in fact voted the writer of the decade.
