WSFTP 95 reads current file date as 100 01 11

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Grassroots Information Coordination Center (GICC) : One Thread

While adding a new page to my web site, I just noticed the WSFTP 95 program reads the dates of the files as 1000111. Last year, it would have read 990111. Hasn't affected the operation of the program, the file transferred just fine.

The publishers of WS_FTP (a great program), ipswitch.com, are aware of this and have made general Y2K info available at

http:// ipswitch.com/Support/year2000.html

And specific product info available at

http:// ipswitch.com/Support/year2000/products.html

If you're using WS-FTPLE, the free version, the you can either download the latest version, 5.06, which is Y2K compliant, or fix older ones with the instructions they provide at
