Can you give me a summary of the Cask of Amontillado and explain what it means?

The major theme of cask of amontillado is revenge. In this short story, two men are walking in a dungeon on the night of a huge festival. The man who seeks revenge keeps tempting teh other to drink his wine of amontillado. at last, the man is drunk and the revenger winds up handcuffing his victim to a wall and barracding him in a corner by buildinh a wall around him. As he hears the moans and crys of teh guy he revneged,he feels bad about his actiosn. There was no such thing as sweet revenge unless you feel good about your revenge. Hope it helps

Its simple. Theres a guy named Furtunato that insulted him in brought him troubles (possably because he was a mason) so the narrarator wants revenge.

well......its a great story!!!! but i think the the narrator is unfair.......he should treat furtunato another way of doing a revenge...not the one he did!!!! anyway....its great!!!!!
