Any chance you folks will be reviewing the Casio QV-2000UX? I've read three very favorable reviews on this camera but I'd like more details.

We just posted a QV-2000UX review, at http://www.imaging-resource.com/ PRODS/Q2K/Q2KA.HTM Very capable camera, but our test unit had somewhat of a magenta cast to it. Several readers wrote to say they thought this was probably an early unit, as that was a problem observed by many people, which has apparently now been fixed. We have a query into Casio on the subject, will let people know what's up when we find out ourselves. Meanwhile, check the review for a functional description. (Oh, there's also a long time-exposure mode that's "hidden": We'll be updating the review to contain mention of it in a few days.)

I got to play with the qv-3000ux at CES vegas last weekend, the 3 megapixel version of it. Supposedly released to the public in 2 or 3 months. The blow up pics they had looked great. My friends and I were more excited by the canon S20 demo tho. :) I'm also looking forward to the 3 megapixel

That should have read "Looking forward to the 3 megapixel version of the SONY 505", who one sony rep at CES told me about.
