Mind control - Harry Schultz quote

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

"The truth is: we get, I'd guess, only about 30% of the total picture - and even that 30% is given to us through filters - government filters, corporate filters, vested interest filters, media and other filters. The other 70% you'll never know. Not from mass media. From TV least of all...."

Think about it - we are continually being conditioned by the media. If something is true and is right in front of your nose, we tend not to believe it if it flies in the face of the "media" consensus.

Y2K is no exception. So, the 1000 cuts is and always was the most plausible scenario for the bug. I believe it is playing out. Just watch the price of oil over the next few weeks.

Filter/black out; same thing. This board is the best source of news on Y2K related or possibly related items available. We get grassroots reports here that are not available anywhere else. If my only source of news was the media I would have to say that Y2K was virtually nonexistent. Thanks to this board I know better and most of all its not done with yet!

Ishkabibble,

I agree. The media has for years been able
to manipulate the ideas of the masses. They
are very good at this. Even today after 50
years old propaganda efforts have not been
realized by the populace.

Examples:

We needed to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki to
save lives.

There are two Viet Nam's and we are going in
to protect the people of the south from an
invasion by the north. Also used in Korea.

Gulf of Tonkin incident is still being written
about in school text books where that second
attack never happened.

JFK was killed by a lone assassin.

The bombing of Iraq was necessary to protect Kuwait.

The bombing of Yugoslavia was necessary because the
Serb army has killed a < million Kosovars.

Y2K was a non-event.

The problem was not Y2K related.

Yes, and it causes one to wonder what kind of spin has been put on the Waco massacre as well. Newly released photos, formerly in the government's posession, (as if they couldn't have been doctored up after all this time-no, only the RUSSIANS do things like that, dummy) seem to disagree with the incriminating IR footage that caused such a stir a few months ago.

We'll never know the truth this side of eternity!

cause of the flashes on the infrared tape."

When did Schultz make this statement on oil/1000 cuts etc?

Patrick - very good post, you've hit the nail on the head. I'm quite surprised at the people who have bailed already. As for Harry Schultz...

======================================================================

Do you know when he made this statement?

He was predicting oil at $50 by December 31st 1999.

And 50-75% higher in early 2000.

Oil and unleaded gas up significantly today.... Hmmmmmmmmmmm.......
