confirmed that the IP grave shift starts at 300am. don't know if they stagger the pitcritters in an hour earlier or later.

jimmy is a young guy with one of those pencil thin 'beards' under his lower lip. he's also got a thin mustache & long, straight hair in a pony-tail. he also deals an excellent game on grave at the hard rock.

grave at the hard rock starts at 300am. day starts at 1100am. all bets are off as to when swing starts. they apparently stagger their people in over a 4 hour period surrounding 700pm.

bill at the new york is a middle aged man with short dark hair and glasses. he shuffles different than most of the other dealers (making him useless to me for tracking purposes), but he does deal deeper than most NY dealers. he cuts off about 1.25 decks (out of six). bill works day shift.

maile (a female friend of mine) accompanied me on my 01.07.00 #1 session at the rio. she ran interference for me while i played a straight (non-tracking) game. she did a wonderful job of keeping the pit bosses off my back. they were charmed with her. the biggest issue on their mind (that they were willing to talk about) was whether maile was old enough to be in a casino.

for those of you keeping up with my poker results:
stopped at suquamish on my way home from lv and played some 4-8 holdem for 6.25 hours before finishing the drive home. won $195.00. the first words out of everyone's mouth at the casino was "what happened to your hair?". the second words out of everyone's mouth was "david called yesterday".

my beautiful carol (cocktail waitress) is getting married to mike in hawaii this march. she's cut her hair. her braces are gone. heavy sigh.

thonyrose (dealer) is 'with child'. it's not mine.

the phenomenal shuffle on the six & eight deck games at suquamish is starting to vanish. several tables now have shufflers on them. we gotta get DJ and/or ES up to speed on that beautiful shuffle before it's gone. one deck cuts abound (even on the machine-shuffled games).

i think that is enough suquamish gossip for now.

mistake? (PV)

Your last entry says "Rio; 0.17hrs; +35gross; 0tips; +17net? Should be +35net? nitpick. jim
