Transit Glitch

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I don't know how to link, but here's the story. Just one day after announcing it is safe to get rid of our y2k preps because everything is hunky dory, our local paper reports that the computers of the bus company which transports our senior citizens to their doctor appointments have crashed. I am starting to feel sorry for some of these officials that claim no y2k problems, they seem honestly mystified as to how their computer systems work. Your thoughts?

Hey King, you missed your chance to ask her if she'd like to Daisy Chain.

Daisy, don't listen to us, we're just ranting (sort of).

One of my continuing concerns about mere y2k "glitches", is that enough of them will swamp the ability of the elderly to cope.

KoS: No thank you, but it's always nice to be asked.

"The agency isn't blaming the computer woes on Y2K".

'Nuff said.
