I have a question that was probably asked many times, but I couldn't find an answer. I would like to transfer all my VHS movies to VCD. I have a cd-rw drive and I have Megapeg Mpeg encoding software. This software only turns it to mpeg. I don't have a Video Capture card yet, does anyone have any suggestions? Also, when I do get a capture card, how will I be able to capture the soud from the video?? Also, how do I turn an mpeg file into a vcd file?

try finding some encoders that can transfer your mpoeg file to the correct mpeg vcd file (two that can are the xingencoder and the panasonic encoder)

get the dazzle (DVC) and it works pretty good.,but picture quality from VHF is not good if you record it.
