How to create VCD for VCD Player

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have all equipment and I know how to produce mpeg1 files: Elsa Erazor III 32 MB RAM Video in/out with Mainactor Video Sequenzer Programm. The MPEG1 Files I made and burned on CD can be viewed by my computer but my stereo (Sony with VCD capability) wouldn't play them.

Do you need a special programm that burs VCDs? I use CE Quadrat that came with my Burner (Mitsumi 2802 2X Speed)

Thanks in advance Gerd

thier are two possible reasons it wont play 1. your sony will not read cdrs 2. its possbile your doiung them at the wrong bitrate. If the bitrate you have is at 115 then i would say maybe your dvd player doesnt read the cdrs.

Are you burning the MPEG straight on to the CD resulting in a data CD? Or are you using a VCD burning program?

use Nero Burning rom as your cd burning software you can get it here http://www.ahead.de/ Then crack the program at http://astalavista.box.sk And it has a built in VCD program.

Hope this helps
