We received a readers digest Contest for the new Millenium.. Our Address label was dated Jan 1900 A couple days later another letter from them. this time there was a phone number. I called. Aske lady WHY ?? was my label dated Jan 190o ??.. She said, "We are haveing a problem and all our computers are now shut down for repair".. Why hasen't our "MEDIA" latched on to this. ?? We are Mushrooms,,, Kept in the dark and fed BS. Thanks,,Al

It was (then) Reader Digest CIO David Starr who made a lot of noise a few years back claiming that Y2K was a hoax.

George, you're right on. I spoke at a couple of Y2K conferences where Starr appeared to give his "hype" spiel. Al, keep us posted. It would be great irony if Reader's Digest is having serious problems.
