You on this forum, I think are nice people. Sometimes I think you don't pay attention about what is going on around you. The thing you fear is happening to people in this nation rignt now. There are children in the mountian of Tennesse the southest who are with out food good water just the basics. And you only worry about yourselves. If you think y2k is or could be bad for you, think how bad it is for them.

americans know nothing of poverty and hunger. those folks in u.s. poverty won't miss any hi-tech stuff. if anything, they be surviving better than you could ever manage.

40,000 children die every day from dysentery and hunger. do something constructive. teach the parents how to control reproduction and build infrastructure.

try your know-nothing, bleeding heart "poor mouth" elsewhere.

Wise, are you a "population control" supporter? It is my believe ther is enough wealth and land in this world...but too many corrupt governments keeping their citizens oppressed.

What do you think of China's populations control program (which, by the way, the US sends gazillions of dollars to each year in support)?
