O/T Ed, Almost Enough Here for your next book?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Ed, I have a feeling this forum is being closely monitored by all sorts of academicians, sociologists, writers, students and scholars. Has there ever been a more open expose of human nature and behavior, as it happens relative to reaction/interaction, etc. I would bet this forum will be incorporated in college psychology/sociology books for years to come.....AND I WANT MY ROYALTIES!

Larry,

I may be regarded by some of the participants on this forum as an evil, greedy, incompetent, scaremongering lunatic ... but I'm not COMPLETELY insane. Half the people on this forum never want any of their writings reproduced anywhere, anytime (depsite the likelihood that their words are already been analyzed in various government computer systems), and the other half want double-royalties for every word they write.

The forum is fun, valuable, insightful, humorous, vicious, wise, nasty, vibrant, and a hundred other things ... but I'll write my own books, thank you very much...

Ed

Woah Ed!, I Apologize if you took my comments the wrong way. I have the highest regards for you and the fantastic work you have done. I was just making an observation that regardless of what happens post- Y2K - this has been a unique and educational experience.I realize that you're not a sociologist or Psychologist but the forum has been of such an unprecedented experience that a gifted writer would have a tremendous and rich resource of material from which to draw.

And Lighten Up damnit! I'm on your side!!

Mr. Yourdon:

Write books! Think nothing of destructive criticism. As a matter of fact, my sweetheart has been bugging me to write a book about the millennium (like everyone else, no doubt...)

My essay below is a test. Tell me what you think please--Yes! Be honest.

Manythanks for assisting me in my education this past year.
