Ok, folks looks like were being spammed about this adoption thing, and everything that needs to be said is right here, SYSOP #3

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I agree with the poster about the adoption, so sysops why not let her have a thread and leave her alone.

To the poster, how about we declare a truce, you get your thread and leave the rest alone. If people are interested they'll reply you on your thread. You don't help your cause getting everyone angry at you.

This poster is being deleted because s/he has posted a number of purely disruptive threads. This is just the latest in a long line.

It's Laura with her dorky new name.

That thread never did and never will be an appropriate plea for help on this forum. This situation, if in fact is a real situation, should be taken care of by either a church or an adoption agency. BTW, now that Y2K is no longer a threat, this thread is now mute and inappropriate.

It's just LL on one of her manic trips again, with many open windows on her box so she can fire away with her psychosis.

Gee, Guys, this is why newbies and lurkers tend to keep their mouths respectfully shut! Sounds as though there's a history here known to the founding fathers, but it's still a heart-rending posting. Hope no offense given or taken by our response, but we fervently pray they find a <<>>home for this baby, and one in which the parents -to -be will be capable of independent thought and can raise a child in these turbulent times. Again, thanks for allowing our entry.

Charlie, the young woman and infant were taken in by a kind GI family for the rollover and continue to do fine. They are still currently staying with that family. It has had it's own threads of discussion a few days ago. What you're seeing here is just someone who wants attention posting the same thread non stop for god knows what reason. Thank you for your concern.

Lady is spamming with the adoption story in an attempt to make the moderators look incompassionate. Another low blow from the Queen of Psychosis.

to the person wanting someone to adopt their baby: Are you sure that is what you want? I have 4 children and we have been through very hard times... mean dads mean step-dads, maybe even mean me(mom)... but as poor as I have been and as usless as I thought I was, I took care of my kids for many years. When the time came, and they could make their own decisions, I let them go, but I first instilled in them the major points of life... thou shall not murder, thou shall not steal, though shall not lie... my kids were in foster homes via the church for awhile but I was the one that had the say in it(I always listened to the kiddos) if they were not happy we made different arrangments. My klids are all grown now and doing well... I wish I had not missed those years...but I am happy they are alive and well, and we still love each other. Kids can handle alot , love them don't try to get rid of them till they want you to.

Infant was NOT adopted out ... is still with mother, and BOTH have found a nice home ... both are doing GREAT!

Now please stop disrupting. PLEASE?

Blessings,

Dr. Rev. ThunderLight

Since I have read a number of posts that have this spam inserted in them, I for one would appreciate a killer virus to send to "Alice". Address and phone number would be appreciative too. I'm sure we can find someone to shut her up.

-- Shut Up Alice (Kill@Alice.com), January 05, 2000.

Dear Alice try reading comprehension 101. That was an offer for a COMPUTRER VIRUS, idiot. It is HARDLY a death threat. Grow up, you have the answer you asked for about the kids, go find anothe sand box to play in this place is for people who have successfully transited puberty, which CLEARLY rules you out!

Alice, if you are truly interested in the health of a baby, get off the computer and tend to it. Love and food - allllll it needs. Not someone squirting off in cyberspace..... karen

-- karen (karen@karen.karen), January 06, 2000.

In the bad ol' days an unwanted baby would be left (warmly bundled up) on the convent steps, to be found by the nuns in the morning. System worked as well as most. Beats leaving it with strangers, anyway.

"Alice" is getting out of control. If this continues, I suggest that we notify "her" ISP. <:(=
