I have recently purchased a Fuji MX1700 Digital camera. After the first week of use I'm very happy with the performance and features. The review by Imaging Resource was very accurate and the basis for my decision to buy this camera. I have had one problem, however and that is that the photos shot at 640 x 480 with normal compression appear to be better in clarity and resolution than the photos shot at high resolution 1280 x 1024 Normal compression. I have tended to get unwanted bright highlights and general lower clarity at the higher resolution. Can anyone explain why?
