You're new around these here parts, eh? Wait 'til you stumble upon the "aliens among us" conspiracy sites! Enjoy.

Buckaroo, thanks for reminding me of my favorite campy SF movie, a cult classic, for sure. Yep, lots of Buckaroo Banzai metaphors apply to Y2K - in fact, the whole Y2K story kind of reminds me of Dr. Lazardo running at high speed full tilt headfirst into a brick wall searching for the alien dimension. And here we are, in the asylum after the Krash, scribbling equations and explanations on the walls...except in the movie, crazy Dr. Lazardo was right, the aliens had accomplished their undercover invasion...LOL!

If there's one thing I've learned from Y2K, it's this classic line, "Wherever you go, there you are!" ;-)

Years ago I told my partner that I wanted a Buckaroo Banzai life. Welp, w/ y2k we got one. We've been saying that to each other for some months now.

Confession: it's my favorite movie. Ever.
