R.C and Jim Lord: What do sources now say?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Would like R.C. and Jim Lord to let us know when they hear something from their inside sources, as to why there have not been the massive embedded problems, or the other catastrophic dangers that we read about (and feared!) for a year. Seems even the international oil and electricity systems are running smoothly. Do your sources think the trouble is bubbling up, glitch by glitch, until it explodes various systems, or do they now thing their earlier concerns were invalid?

Like to hear something from the RC the oil man before I start using up my stored gas!!!! :)

I posted a challange to RC in:

A challange to RC as he still has predictions in play...

I got no answer.

RC are you there? We've heard from Yardeni, Yourdon etc. but not Mr. CEO, RC and all the other anonymous sources as far as I can see.

Yes, I'm still waiting too!! Inquiring minds would like to know!!

I'd like to hear from Heller, Zoobie, Hartsman, Olson, the sprayed chemical twins and all the other fear mongers who said there would be serious interruptions.

We've heard from Yourdon and Yardeni because they have appeared on TV and are public figures. People such as RC don't owe anybody anything. They passed along information from their sources which they thought was valid, and they don't owe any apologies or explanations to anyone.

If RC should come up with any new information, however, I hope he will report it.

Scold, your answer comes from Shell Oil in Nigeria (after the pipeline failure) declaring a "force majeur" in shipments.

Gee, thanks RC for the answer. This thread just shows why pollies suck. They are failures at normal human converstion/inquiry. I made no disparaging comments to RC or Jim Lord, and thought I wrote a very ppolite, even perhaps humorous, question. Most of the answers were infantile and obnoxious and accusatory. Hurray for what Danco said.
