The "Great Unloading" has begun : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread

Some outfit is unloading beaucoup wheat etc. on eBay.

I haven't "done the math" on his prices, and for the record, I have NO connection with him and know nothing about him.

That said, if you *don't* have any non-perishable food, it looks like there may be a window of opportunity to get some at a decent price before the "thousand cuts" start becoming evident. (If his prices *aren't* good, I suspect there'll be others who *will* want to part with theirs for a pittance.)

uh.... Considering shipping and the minimum bid, this is not a fire sale!

Checked a few more items, some were unchanged from regular, but some at a good 30+% off. You'ld have to cherry pick for bargains.

P.S. I've had family food storage program for over a decade and while the fundamentals in the program change, every now and then some items don't get rotated fast enough. Of course the biggest loss is when one family member REALLY loves one item, example tea, and then quits liking it completely and nobody else in the family can stand tea.

If you get the time, could you list the bargains in case folks want to grab them?

Well just printout what's listed on the auction and then printout the guy's regular catalog and compare prices. The premium milk was marked down a good amount.
