I lived in Toronto for over 25 years up until 1996. My favorite photography resrource was Toronto Camera on Queen Street, near Church (not Henry's- they're a bit overpriced). They have everything you need, and they used to have a great used department (I haven't been back in several years). The people who work there were always very helpful and polite.

I have never heard of Toronto Camera? There are several good camera stores in that area:

Henrys - good selection but rather expensive. Alt Camera - 1-800-387-9891 Broadway (my favourite) - (416)363-4117 Downtown Camera - (416)363-1749

Various pawn shops (buyer beware)!!!
