Big coverage the night it happenned (Dec. 30) on CBC National News and then little mention of it since. It's "under investigation" the last I heard (again, on Dec. 30).

Just read this morning that it's not a human error but nobody want to speculate on what happen.

Last I heard was that one of the engines on one train derailed and the the second train hit it.

There are TONS of derailments in Canada every year - we've got a zillion kilometers of track - you just don't hear about them.
