I heard Ed Dames on Art's show and indeed, he did go on record that they couldn't get all fired up about Y2K. However, that's one for the record, since Dames is one of the biggest frauds out there. His track record is exceedingly poor. Most of us could do better in fact.

Ed didn't say that Y2K would be a nonevent, he said it would be dwarfed by sunspot activity...

Ed Dames DID predict (the last time he was on Art Bell - a few weeks ago) that there would be a MAJOR Terrorist attack on the scale of Oklahoma City by the end of 1999 and that he would be telling the government officials, but not the public. He said that it was basically written in stone and there would be no stopping it, no matter what was done according to his remote viewing.

Nada! Nothing! Zip! He said over and over that this wasn't one of the things that could be changed. You can listen to it in the archives if you want.

Ed Dames is one of Art Bell's favorite people to interview. That and Richard Hoaxland are always on Art Bell. I enjoy listening to Art Bell, but he's just an entertainer. I take very little that I hear on his show seriously.
