How many potiential timebombs lurk? And you think all is well now ?

Give me a break!!! (and may have...)

The CDC just happened. No one knows for sure the short, medium or long term impact of Y2K. Let alone the other "timebomb"s "2000" that we face!

Here's a short list: terrorism, stock market, chemical, biological and nuculear gorrilla warfare, Medical ethical issues such as designer children, gene research, cloning, right to die, abortion, the impact of the baby boom on health care, etc., etc., etc....

I'd say there are many other timebomb 2000s out there. Let's keep pondering, analyzing and sharing information.

Such a throwaway culture. So many willing to throw away the challenges we face (or so they think..). So many wimps. So much misdirected anger.

We have, at first glance, weathered the introduction to the book. And, now is the time to throw away the real story? Grow up, spoiled, angry people! Or go away!

This forum is for growups.

Forgive my rant.

Peace and blessings to you all.

Hate to give you a slap of reality, but TB2000 is about the computer problem. What you are talking about has nothing to do with what we are addressing. The Y2K problem ends when the computer issue is resolved.

I am not going to worry about every problem in the world, only about the Y2K situation. Just have to be selective as my time is limited and I really don't like to worry, strangely enough.
