we have one of the large dish satellite systems.it now does not give the amount of time left on a program on some of the stations.could this be due to y2k? i am being very serious as i consider this a computer controlled thing.it seems to be 2 of the movie channels maily that have done this.appreciate all answers to this.i know it is a little thing but it was something my husband had noticed yesterday

Brenda,

How would you expect anyone to give you an answer without knowing which system you're on? And, if this is a Y2K problem or not, who cares? It sounds like you're still able to get the programs. BTW, there's a new thing called sentences and punctuation - you should try them as it will make your messages a lot easier to read

Thanks Brenda for the post. My father has one of those big systems and he reported no trouble this weekend. However he doesn't usually watch the movie channels. Good luck with your dish. I don't know if your observation is a serious glitch or not - hopefully that is all that happens.
