NBC repeated announced that from 11:35 until 11:50 Jay Leno would have a monologue called Y2Jay. I was looking forward to a break from the pointless prattle of the talking heads, but never got one. We in the Louisville area heard more local prattle instead, and no explanation. Was it a national or local foulup? Did anyone hear Y2Jay?

I didn't see the show, but saw his interview with Katie Coric beforehand. I don't mind Jay Leno as a comedian, but he is an idiot, and definitely a DWGI. He was already laughing off the whole Y2K situation as some kind of a big joke, BEFORE the United States had even gone through the rollover! He isn't capable of understanding that there is a lot more to it than just the power grid.
