This morning we awoke to an apparently unchanged world. Were our preparations needless? I think not. The things we were able to do will be things that will enhance our family's life. The only expense that may come into question is our generator. Since on two separate, unrelated occasions we have had to endure 10 days without power, I don't feel this is a worthless investment.

And for your consideration I would like to share the following. As a precaution against potential power surges, we shut down our computer last night. When we rebooted this morning, I was greeted by the following verse from our "Daily Bread" program. The verse read "For my own name's sake I delay my wrath; for the sake of my praise I hold back from you, so as not to cut you off." Isaiah 48:9 Hmmmm....yet another *coincidence* some of you might say. Well, our family likes to think of them as GPC's. :-) God Planned Coincidences.
