Terrorisim, virus alerts, bad code...NADA?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

After all the hype for months about sects, virus alerts and terrorisim attacks, set asidethe bug, we have yet to see one real problem. I cant belive that after all this study and reports not one event has happened. Are we just damn lucky or are we being treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark and feed sh*t.

Input anyone?

It's amazing what a little bit of fear can do, I bet people in Seattle are pissed.

We might be kept in the dark for smaller, internal things but how can they keep us in the dark for the bigger stuff.

Have you seen any widespread blackouts, water shortages, terrorist events, virus attacks ?.

If the sh-t was hitting the fan we would know it real fast, because we would be telling each other.

it's called media control

C'mon Andy, there are 10 million eyes and ears on the internet. Do you really believe THEY are controlled.

No of course not, we are the exception, that's why the likes of Clinton and Mr. gates are so keen on contolling the emerging internet audience...

The Elite are terrified of the Internet for obvious reasons - at the moment it's not out of control because so few proportionately worl- wide use it - wait and see what plans they have for it...

I was scanning all mewswire feeds all nigh and I can assure you all I saw was smiley smiley happy happy stories...

Nothing in depth, nothing deviating from the status quo

Example - they have pronounced Russia totally y2k bug-free

Ditto for England

Come on hamster, wise up here :o)
