Just after midnight PST, in Los Gatos (Silicon Valley), CA, there was a slight dimming, then a hard shut down of power for about 10 seconds. Then it came back up. It was so completely unexpected, that it surprised me.

Phones worked, so I immediately called Rick Cowles at the MSNBC command station, to share the glitch, and laughs.

PG&E is the local electric utility.
