Something will, you should be very scared.

Yes, Marta....Andy WILL post again.

Hopefully,

You've learned how to be more resilient, and prepared for whatever life tosses your way.

Know what? I don't think "it's over" either. But I do believe people everywhere learned some valuable lessons in cooperation... globally.

Hopefully... that will "stick" in times of mutual challenge.

Breathe... and enjoy a hot shower in the morning! Delight in your blessings, as well.

;-D

Yes, we are not out of the woods yet. There have been some problems, and we are certain to encounter others...especially when we start business again, monday morning. Enjoy the week-end!

Marta...

Diane said it all...."Hopefully"

We'll face challeneges in the future, and "hopefully" is the way to approach it. You're likely a lot better prepared to face it now. Don't let your preps down but enjoy sunny days, friendship and what joys you can, while you can. Try to find something to cherish in every day. I feel a little scared on occassion too...frankly we'd be fools if we weren't. Don't let it get to ya though...

You should remain VERY cautious. Little is proven by an uneventful 12-24 hour period of calm. EVERY line of unremediated code = ONE cancer cell in our economy. The issue is: Will it be caught and killed before it grows into a sizeable tumor? by the bugbusters/"immune system".

Be glad you have another day to prepare or to "smell the roses" in your life.

Far from over!

Marta,

I too, think that something could still happen. I would like to point out however, that since the electric stayed on, that the effects will not be as bad as we originally thought. If the electric stays on, we at least have a good chance of remediating what is left to be remediated, and that will be in our favor.

Take heart. Although the other shoe has yet to drop, as we don't know at least until Monday how local, national and international businesses will fare, try to keep your day and week in perspective.

My husband is a recovering alcoholic. In AA we have the serenity prayer : God grant me the serentity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Learn to see what you can change and not change, and you will feel like you have more control over how you are reacting at this time.

I'll say a prayer for you today. May God hold you in His loving embrace and protect you. My email is real. You can mail me a note if you like.

For now, go out, celebrate the New Year with a meal out of the house, and give yourself some credit for having the foresight to prepare for any emrgency that could arise. You have alot more going for you than you realize. You go, girl!
