Where's Hawk? The weather stations are his specialty.

The commentator on CNN went over it several times. Said it wasn't a biggy, but then turned around and said it could be a problem.

AWOS (Automated Weather Obsevation System) is an older weather reporting device that has been replaced in many locations by ASOS. Our ASOS (Automated Surface Observation System) was operating normally after the 0000Z rollover. Not that this is saying very much, as AWOS and ASOS are not nearly as accurate as human observers and I personally would never fly into an airport based upon an AWOS or ASOS observation only. Could cause some weather related aviation problems.
