Yeah. Everybody seems to think that it's all over. Reminds me of when the Titanic hit the iceberg. Few on the ship even noticed the ship shudder under the impact. Many wouldn't go outside and get into the boats because it was too cold out there. The problem cascaded through the ship gradually, not all at once.

It also reminds me of how you boil a frog to death ... by gradually raising the temperature of the pot; so gradually he doesn't notice until he dies. I wonder if this problem is going to manifest like that.

I've been writing code too long to just believe that these systems have somehow miraculously corrected themselves; there's still a ticking timebomb waiting to go off. If it doesn't, then I'll be grateful, but I want to see us get through the next 3 months before I'll consider it a BITR.
