83,000 w/o power in Pasco County Fl. -- Can anyone confirm?

I can't confirm that, but if this is all you guys can come up with, then wooptie doo. Let those 83,000 sweat it out cause there's a lot of folks who can help them out at this point. What can be confirmed is that this outage affected some 8,300 customers... not 83,000. It was the result of an automobile accident and power was restored within approximately 1.5 hours. To my knowledge, this was Florida's most significant service interruption for the period and was, clearly, not related to Y2k.
